Planning & Zoning Director Brian Frantz reviewed the updated project management table and timeline for the Zoning Code update and said the goal is adoption by year end. The timetable lists upcoming PZC regular meetings, work sessions, an informational hearing, and Council readings with a tentative First Reading on October 20 and target adoption in November.
Frantz noted the zoning map will be a major topic at Community Day and that PZC members will be present to explain the map to the public. "The goal is to have the Zoning Code update completed and the new Code adopted by year end," Frantz said. The commission agreed to public outreach and to return to work sessions to refine draft language ahead of required public notice periods.
