The Winner School District 59-2 Board of Education voted Oct. 13 to hold a Special Board Meeting on Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. for public comment and input from the Reservation School Team (RST) and parents of Native American children about the district’s educational program and the Impact Aid process. The regular meeting is scheduled to follow at 7:00 p.m.
The motion to set the meeting was made by Scott Meiners and seconded by Rusty Blare; the board recorded the motion as carried by a 6-0 vote. The minutes state the special session is intended to provide required public input for the Impact Aid process and to review the district’s federal programs.
