City to accept $1M in county road funding for 800 North and 680 North projects (Resolution 2025-029)

City Administrator Scott Darrington presented an interlocal cooperative agreement with Utah County that allows Pleasant Grove to accept $1 million in road funding for projects generally located at 800 North and 680 North near North County Boulevard. Darrington said the funding came as the result of lobbyist efforts and will enable utility and roadway work in the referenced corridor.
Council unanimously approved Resolution 2025-029 authorizing the Mayor to sign the agreement. Public Works Director Neal Winterton had earlier reviewed a map of the subject area during the Work Session and will oversee coordination of the projects and use of county funds.
Staff noted that the agreement advances planned utility and pavement work and that the City will follow state and county procedures for project delivery and reporting.
