Council accepts Utah County recreation grant for library events pavilion (Resolution 2025-028)

Parks Director Deon Giles presented a Utah County recreation grant agreement that will provide approximately $33,000 toward construction of a library events pavilion. He described the pavilion as larger than the previous model, to be located near the generator and oriented north.
Council voted unanimously to authorize the Mayor to sign the grant agreement (Resolution 2025-028). The funding will be used to advance the pavilion project and staff indicated additional design and construction steps will follow grant acceptance.
