Pleasant Grove City Council unanimously approved a reimbursement agreement with Blossom Hill, LLC (Resolution 2025-025) to enable roadway connectivity at 200 South and 1150 East. Public Works Director Neal Winterton reviewed aerial imagery showing development progress and said the developer's contractor will perform the construction and the City will reimburse certain costs.
Winterton said the City’s estimated contribution to sidewalk, landscaping and necessary road repairs is about $93,000 and that removing the existing turnaround to connect the new road will improve vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian connectivity. Mayor Guy Fugal and council members described the action as consistent with prior expectations when the turnaround was built and said the investment advances connectivity objectives.
