The Pleasant Grove City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2025-033 on Aug. 19 to authorize a lease-purchase agreement with U.S. Bancorp Government Leasing and Finance, Inc. Finance Director Denise Roy reported U.S. Bancorp submitted the lowest proposal: a 3.995% interest rate for a three-year $404,291 lease.
Roy provided a preliminary equipment breakdown: five Ford F-150s and three Chevrolet Tahoes for the police fleet, roughly $60,000 for computers and servers, and about $60,000 for three to four pieces of cardio equipment at the Recreation Center. She said the lease would proceed after standard procurement checks; the council approved the resolution without recorded opposition.
Why it matters: The lease finances capital equipment already included in the city’s approved budget and will be reimbursed under the related reimbursement resolution if closing timing requires it.
