Pleasant Grove City Council on Sept. 2 authorized Resolution 2025‑036 to renew an interlocal agreement with the Utah County Department of Health for the PG Cares substance misuse prevention program.
Administrator Scott Darrington told the Council the County provided $25,000 in grant funds to cover personnel and training costs and the City is required to provide a $10,000 match; the program is administered locally by Nicole Khountham. Council approved the resolution unanimously.
The agreement continues the collaborative prevention program and funds will be used for personnel and training; any program evaluation or reporting will follow the interlocal agreement terms.
