Pleasant Grove City Council on Sept. 2 authorized the Mayor to sign local authority consent for a retail alcohol license for Kensington Fine Dining PG, LLC, which will operate as Magleby's at a future location near Summit Pizza and Tossd.
City Administrator Scott Darrington characterized Magleby's as a sit‑down restaurant similar to an existing Springville location and said the application met local requirements. Council Member Cyd LeMone asked for clarification and Darrington confirmed the business will function as a sit‑down dining operation; the Council voted unanimously to authorize local consent.
The business has not yet set an opening date and must complete business license and building approvals before commencing operations.
