Council and community celebrate Pleasant Grove Dodgers' UBBA Mustang Tournament win

The Pleasant Grove City Council recognized the Pleasant Grove Dodgers youth baseball team for winning the Utah Boys Baseball Association (UBBA) Mustang Tournament. Sports Coordinator Mandy Carson presented the team and coaches and several players introduced themselves: Logan Bond (third base and outfield), Colby Johnson (left field), Zachary Shepherd (pitcher and first base), Luke Rentschler (catcher) and Mick Jones (second base and shortstop). Coach Quenton Wilson said he was proud of the team and thanked volunteers and staff involved in supporting the season.
Coordinator Carson and Mayor Pro Tem Dianna Andersen highlighted the volunteers and the life lessons of teamwork that baseball provides. The Council and staff joined the team for a group photograph at the Community Room following the presentation.
