Ordinance 2025‑018 rezoned approximately 0.56 acres at about 3195 North 1240 West from A‑1 (one‑acre agricultural) to R‑R (Rural Residential, one‑half‑acre minimum) to allow a single‑family home on a recently annexed parcel. The applicant, Hunter Smith, stated the request was to build one home; the Planning Commission recommended approval and the Council adopted the ordinance unanimously.
Ordinance 2025‑019 rezoned about 2.19 acres at approximately 644 North Homestead Circle from R1‑20 to R1‑12 to match surrounding parcels; applicant Ben Kjar told the Council he plans to retain roughly two acres for a family home and develop two lots fronting 1350 West. Ordinance 2025‑020 rezoned about 1.15 acres at roughly 555 East 1100 North from R1‑20 to R1‑10 to permit three to four lots; all items were recommended by the Planning Commission and approved by the Council with four affirmative votes.
These items were handled in sequence with limited discussion; site‑plan and subdivision details will be considered later if applications are submitted.
