Council signs addendum with Metropolitan Water District to expand Valley Vista and Bonneville Shoreline trail descriptions

Parks Director Deon Giles told the council that Addendum #4 to the Cooperation Agreement for Non-District Use of District Lands with the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy formalizes additional trail descriptions for the Valley Vista and Bonneville Shoreline Trails from Grove Creek north toward the Lindon border.
Giles said the addendum tightens the agreement language following property sales and will assist the city in expanding and formalizing its trail corridor. Council adopted Resolution 2025-044 authorizing the Mayor to sign the addendum.
