Pleasant Grove Board of Canvassers certifies Nov. 4 election results, names Jensen mayor

City Recorder Wendy Thorpe presented the official returns from the Nov. 4 municipal general election and asked the Board of Canvassers to adopt Resolution 2025-040 to accept and certify the results. Thorpe reported vote totals: Eric Jensen received 4,353 votes to Cyd LeMone’s 3,460 in the mayoral contest, and the council race totals showed Dianna Andersen with 5,113 votes, Todd Williams with 4,367, and Tamara Naylor with 3,586.
The Board voted to adopt the resolution. Under Section 2 the Board certified that Eric Jensen had the highest number of votes and declared him elected as mayor for a four-year term; under Section 3 the Board certified that Dianna Andersen and Todd Williams had the highest number of votes and declared them elected as city council members for four-year terms. The vote on the motion was recorded as unanimous.
Recorder Thorpe asked that the motion language name the resolution and include the standard sections designating winners and providing for an effective date; the report was signed following the vote.
