The board approved vouchers presented by the finance committee for Fund 15 ($16,175.97) and Fund 16 ($7,919.34) after brief review. Committee members reported nothing unusual in the submissions and both motions carried on voice votes.
The committee’s June financial report showed the year roughly half complete (49.59%), with revenues at 99.49% of budget and expenditures at 48.39%. "This is the June report, which is 49.59% of the year," a committee member reported. Library-materials spending across funds 15 and 16 stands at 59.8% of budget. Board members noted that missing electric-bill entries for May/June and unusually high natural-gas charges warrant follow-up; staff will check billing and vendor arrangements and report back.
