Council schedules tentative adoption, sets June 17 final adoption date and adjourns
Summary
After the budget review staff recommended tentative adoption next Wednesday and final adoption on June 17; the meeting adjourned following a motion that passed by voice vote with all present saying "aye."
At the end of the work session Presenter (S3) reminded council members that adoption of the tentative budget is statutory and proposed scheduling tentative adoption for next Wednesday and final adoption for June 17. Presenter said staff will try to have the certified tax rate available in time for final adoption but that final dates can be adjusted if necessary.
Committee member (S1) moved to adjourn, the motion was seconded and the voice vote was unanimous: "All in favor, say aye." The meeting was adjourned with no further business recorded.
