County details school health-insurance funding as FY27 school budget rises $12.2M

Mallory Stribling emphasized the county's recent contributions to the school health-insurance fund, saying the county has contributed $7,100,000 in one-time funds since the funding gap was identified and increased recurring transfers to align with a multi-year goal. The county also detailed capital-maintenance contributions for boilers, chillers and roof work and identified remaining cash requirements for Taylor Middle School under the county's debt policy.
