The Fauquier County Planning Commission opened its March 18 meeting by adopting a resolution honoring Mary Ann Primo on her retirement after 35 years of service to the county. The resolution cited Primo’s advice to the board of zoning appeals, planning commission and the department of community development, and multiple prior periods of legal representation dating from 2013 onward.
Primo addressed the commission and staff, saying, “It has been a pleasure working with all of you.” She thanked community development staff and commissioners for their work and said she would “miss you tremendously.” The commission presented Primo with a bouquet and recorded the resolution in the minutes.
