The City of Pierre Board of Commissioners voted unanimously July 21 to approve the consent calendar, which included meeting minutes, personnel actions, a raffle request and claims.
Commissioner Huizenga moved to approve the consent calendar and Commissioner Reitzel seconded; the motion carried unanimously. Included in the personnel approvals were the hiring of Andrew Bierne as a police patrol officer at $32.84 per hour and Nathaniel Nelson as a police community resource officer at $27.62 per hour. The consent calendar also contained a raffle request from the Stanley County Booster Club and the list of vendor claims and payments submitted for approval.
The vote cleared routine administrative business so the commission could move to scheduled presentations and ordinance matters later in the meeting. No dissenting votes were recorded.
