At the start of new business the commission moved and unanimously approved minutes from the previous meeting. The commission then voted to approve payment of an advertising invoice; the transcript shows the agenda listed $1,769.80 but the recorded motion said $2,769.80 in the next line; the commission approved the invoice payment despite the inconsistent figures in the meeting record.
The commission accepted a zone change application (APCZ26-16 for 1 Farm Court) and scheduled a hearing on September 8. In a work session the commission reviewed updated architectural plans for a separate proposal at 67 and 69 Greenwood Ave (four new structures, 18 units total). Agent Peter Olson and architect Laura Newelluan presented designs; the commission did not act on the architecture tonight but directed final architectural plans be reviewed by the village architectural consultant and staff prior to issuance of a zoning permit.
Other site-plan items were discussed in a work session (Taylor Ave site plan) where staff said SLR and public works comments and drainage calculations are outstanding; those items will return for further review when applicants respond to consultant comments.
