The motion was seconded and trustees voted to approve the evaluation, contract extension and compensation adjustment; the chair announced the motion carried 6 in favor, 1 absent.
Trustees offered public commendations during the vote, noting Doherty’s leadership, accessibility and student-focused approach. Doherty thanked the board and said he looks forward to the coming year.
