Brocker said he checked BoardDocs and the new vendor (Simbly) over several days and found attachments missing, calling the absent files "ghost documents" and asserting that the lack of attachments undermines transparency and the public’s ability to provide informed input.
"How can the community provide informed commentary on an updated discipline matrix that you actively, if not intentionally, or just conveniently, hid from us?" Brocker asked. He said he filed a FOIA about the transition and indicated he would follow up with district counsel.
Staff acknowledged the public concern; the superintendent and presenters told trustees that the revised discipline matrix would be posted on the district website and that ParentSquare notifications would be sent to parents once the information was available. The board did not take immediate formal action on the complaint but staff said they would follow up with documentation and that Mr. Brocker had filed a FOIA.
