York County holds public hearing on comprehensive plan amendments; no public comments

He summarized the administrative record for the hearing, noting that the public review and notices ran in mid-July (advertised on 07/15/2026 and 07/22/2026) and that a public comment period had been open from 06/05/2026 to 07/20/2026. After presentations from Planning Commission staff and partner organizations, the board opened the hearing to members of the public; no one offered comment.
Commissioners asked follow-up questions of planning staff seeking backup materials and clarification on specific map notations and benchmarks (see related articles). The hearing record was closed and the meeting reconvened; commissioners subsequently approved routine agenda items by motion.
