Commission hears management report: paver, stucco and promenade timeline

A pending engineering report on the Friends retaining wall ("Diana's wall") was expected in early fall, and staff said they were hoping to start promenade walk installation around Oct. 1.
President Carrie Zuckerman and staff praised the contractors and volunteers helping on the projects. No new funds or policy changes were adopted; staff will continue to monitor schedules and return with the engineer’s final report on the retaining wall and an update on the promenade timeline. The meeting adjourned with the next meetings set for Aug. 18 and Sept. 15.
