Board approves $34,633 courtroom sound system with shared funding

Jenny Hammrich, Clerk of Courts Administrator, and Jennifer Malone, Clerk of Courts, presented an estimate from Forte' to replace the courtroom sound system for $34,633.85. Hammrich told the board that "the UJS would put $10,000.00 toward the project and the funds held by the County in the Law Library fund of $13,285.00 could be used," leaving a county contribution of $11,633.85.
Commissioner Steve Spilde moved to accept the estimate and funding approach, and Commissioner Corey Lundquist seconded; the motion carried. The board directed staff to proceed with the purchase and installation under the stated funding arrangement. No additional countywide budget transfers were recorded beyond the stated Law Library allocation.
