Highway Superintendent Dave Sorenson also had travel approved to attend the Asphalt Conference in Mitchell on Feb. 11–12, 2026.
On procurement, the Board approved outright purchase of a used 2024 Model 262D3 skidsteer from Butler Machinery for $60,250 and authorized buying a wire-feed welder; Sorenson and contractor Andrew Kangas presented plans for the 425th Ave road-and-bridge project and the board authorized bid advertising during Feb. 8–14 and Feb. 15–21, 2026, with a possible bid opening Feb. 24, 2026 and award at the March 3, 2026 meeting.
