The Kingsbury County Board of County Commissioners approved the March payment docket and payroll during its Feb. 3 meeting, voting unanimously to direct the county auditor to issue warrants to vendors. The claims docket included Midway Service for $16,572.60 in fuel and other routine vendors; the minutes record courthouse payroll at $82,417.77 and highway payroll at $33,721.86.
Motioning to approve the claims, Commissioner Steve Spilde moved the recommendation and Commissioner Roger Walls seconded; the minutes state "all present voting aye" and the motion carried. The approval was taken as a single consent motion covering a long vendor list and the end-of-month payroll information presented by the county auditor.
