Board holds closed session on collective bargaining and executive session on employee performance; staff directed to respond to union

Later the board entered an executive session at 10:18 a.m. under RCW 42.30.110(g) to evaluate a public employee’s performance. The transcript states the session lasted approximately 20 minutes and that the board took no action on the matter when it reconvened.
During 'Other Business' Sheriff Myers advised the board he would meet with the City of Kittitas to discuss their law enforcement services agreement with the county; that announcement was informational and no board action was recorded.
