Board appoints longtime resident Keith Merrill to vacant Seat 1

The River Ridge Community Development District Board unanimously appointed Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1 (term expiring November 2026) on Oct. 22. "On MOTION by Mr. Schultz and seconded by Mr. Twombly, with all in favor, the appointment of Mr. Keith Merrill to fill Seat 1, was approved," the record states.
Mrs. Adams, a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Merrill following the appointment. District staff and District Counsel Tony Pires reviewed required ethics training, Form 1 filing, Form 8B conflict memoranda, the Sunshine Law and public records obligations for new board members. The Board thanked candidate Kevin Ofenloch for his willingness to serve.
