Kingsbury County auditor authorized to sign Lake Preston generator grant; burn ban lifted

Auditor Echo Steffensen requested and the Board approved authorization for her to sign as Subrecipient Authorized Representative (SAR) for the Kingsbury County KBRW Lake Preston generator grant award. The motion, moved by Commissioner Troy Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Corey Lundquist, passed unanimously.
In the same meeting the Board voted, on a motion by Nelson and second by Lundquist, to remove the burn ban that had been placed on February 17, 2026.
