Auditor given authority to obtain purchase card; election agreement and spray permit approved
Summary
The Kingsbury County Board authorized a single purchase card for county purchases, authorized the chairman to sign a combined election agreement for local school districts and approved a permit for Dakota Air Spray to land on county highways; the board asked the deputy state’s attorney to review the insurance certificate.
At the March 17 meeting the Board authorized the County Auditor to obtain one purchase card from American Bank & Trust for larger county purchases and approved a combined election agreement for Oldham, Ramona and Rutland schools.
Auditor Echo Steffensen "requested approval to obtain a purchase card for the County from American Bank & Trust for larger purchases." The Board voted to allow a single purchase card (motion by Commissioner Corey Lundquist, second by Commissioner Roger Walls). Steffensen also presented a combined election agreement the Board authorized the Chairman to sign (motion by Lundquist, second by Troy Nelson). The motions were recorded as carrying with all present voting aye.
Separately, the Board approved a permit allowing Dakota Air Spray to land on county highways (motion by Commissioner Steve Spilde, second by Commissioner Troy Nelson). The Board directed the Auditor to have the Deputy State's Attorney, Todd Wilkinson, review Dakota Air Spray’s certificate of insurance for suitable coverage prior to finalizing administrative paperwork.
