Premier Lakes reports algae treatment, aeration fixes and littoral replanting plans

Dustin Hormann of Premier Lakes briefed the River Ridge Board on routine lake maintenance findings and planned fixes. He said crews identified minimal red algae that would be treated the next day, dry retention areas were recently treated, most aeration issues were corrected but two aeration units still need electrical work scheduled for the coming week, and a 'Zombie box' is expected to be installed at the Masters in about three weeks after a supply backorder.
District General Manager Eric Long told Charlie Krebs he had emailed Krebs about inspecting the littorals behind 20859 Glen Eagles Lakes Drive; Krebs will obtain cost estimates to replant cord grass and arrowhead. The Board recorded these maintenance items as standard operations and set follow-up for localized planting costs.
