Committee member Cheryl moved that the commission enter a closed session "pursuant to section 19.85 parent 1, parent c of the Wisconsin state statutes for considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee ... for the purpose of strategizing the recruitment and appointment of a new deputy police chief and for discussion and deliberation of hiring process." The Secretary seconded the motion.
