The Klamath Falls City Schools Board of Education unanimously approved a new administrative rule addressing district expenditures for meals, refreshments and gifts at a special meeting on Aug. 18, 2025.
Superintendent Keith Brown presented the proposed administrative rule DJ-AR (Expenditure of District Funds for Meals, Refreshments and Gifts). "Request to approve new AR, DJ-AR (Expenditure of District Funds for Meals, Refreshments and Gifts)," the minutes record. Board member Kathy Hewitt moved to "approve district policy DJ-AR as presented," and Nicole Trejo seconded the motion. Chair Andrew Biggs called for a vote; Andrew Biggs, Nicole Trejo, Trina Perez and Kathy Hewitt voted in the affirmative and the motion carried 4-0 with no dissensions.
The vote completes board approval of the administrative rule as presented at the meeting.
