Commission hears Municipal Campus schematic review and public-works updates; Walsh water work scheduled as one-day project

Community Development Manager Sarah Madden said the City Council held a work session earlier that night to review the Municipal Campus schematic design. Public Works Director Ryan Ruzek summarized next steps for the Municipal Campus project and provided updates on planned street projects for the summer.
Commissioner Cindy Johnson noted a Master Gardeners–supported rain garden installation this weekend involving homeowners. Commissioner Brian Udell asked about water/sewer work on Walsh; Ruzek clarified that St. Paul Regional Water Service (SPRWS) will perform a one‑day water project on Walsh with a detour and that it is water‑only work (not sewer).
