City staff: Wentworth Park telecommunications tower remains under review; revised plans and public hearing likely if changed

Community Development Manager Sarah Madden updated the Commission on a previously tabled telecommunications tower application for Wentworth Park. Madden said the applicant agreed to an extension of the review period and that the City expects revised plans to be submitted. If the resubmitted plans include design changes, Madden said the revised application would trigger a public hearing and mailed notice to affected properties; staff will also notify interested residents using an e-mail list and other City communication platforms.
Madden said it appears the applicant intends to revise its plans but the City had not yet received specific updated designs at the time of the meeting. Commissioners noted the item had been tabled with the understanding that revisions were expected.
