Baxter Doty, representing the Cemetery Commission, thanked volunteers who mow private cemeteries and the people who worked on Hutchinson Cemetery last fall. He said the commission will advertise a public bid for cemetery mowing to cover a three‑year cycle and that the commission will select and restore one cemetery each year, with the Hunt Cemetery designated for this coming year.
David and Elizabeth Bicknell thanked Doty later in the meeting for mentioning the Hunt Cemetery and its planned restoration. The commission encouraged volunteers and community involvement for restoration work.
