England School District reports cleaner books, $750,000 year-over-year improvement

She said those staffing changes reduced operating costs and that small grants and tighter budget controls helped stabilize finances. Doctor Hubbell recommended the board accept the audit report findings and corrective review plans; the board moved and approved the recommendation during the meeting.
