The Milton Board of Health approved a revised septic system plan for 621 Harland Street during its June 1 meeting. David Klenert of Collins Engineering reviewed the plans and consultant Paul Brogna recommended approval contingent on two conditions: the dwelling’s design flow must remain limited to three bedrooms and the final as-built drawings must show finished grades over the soil absorption system.
Chair Laura T. Richards moved to approve the revised plan with those conditions; Richards and Member Deborah Milbauer voted in favor. The approval allows the applicant to proceed under the local upgrade that permits a sieve analysis as part of the design review; staff noted the condition that there be no increase in permitted flow.
Implementation items include submission of an as-built plan that documents finished grades before certificates of occupancy are issued.
