Susan Poirier, Milton’s Public Health Nurse, reported the Health Department has received nine camp applications and has met with Curry College and Milton Academy staff to explain required paperwork. Poirier told the meeting that "packets must be completed two weeks before camp is scheduled to open." The Board emphasized that all required information must be in place before any camp will be allowed to operate.
Board members did not add additional conditions but reiterated timelines and forms will be enforced. The Health Department will continue to collect applications and confirmed that incomplete packet submissions will delay or prevent a camp’s opening date.
