Silver Creek P&Z approves variance for Endicott Ave parcels on Millstone Lake

On Sept. 3, 2024, the Silver Creek Township Planning and Zoning board voted 7-0 to grant a variance requested for parcels at xxxx, 9571 and 9611 Endicott Ave NW on Millstone Lake. Applicant/buyer Kelsea McCormack and property owner Rod Hebrink presented the proposal and explained that one resulting division would contain 5.7 acres of prime soils, exceeding the county limit of 2.5 acres, and would have 285 feet of lake frontage where 300 feet is required.
The board considered the request under Sections 155.026 and 155.048(B) of Chapter 155, Title XV, Land Usage & Zoning of the Wright County Code of Ordinances, as cited in the application materials. Member Mike Helman moved to approve the variance and Brandon Geyen seconded; the motion carried 7-0. The packet listed tax parcel numbers 216-000-172401, 216-000-171201 and 216-000-172400 and located the properties in Government Lot 2, Section 17, Township 121, Range 26 (Millstone Lake area). No further conditions or follow-up dates were recorded in the minutes.
