Staff presented a resolution and contract authorizing the sale of a Commerce Park property to tenant A Plus Environmental under an existing lease option. The contract sets the purchase price at the current appraised value — $146,500 — with an earnest money deposit of $14,650 and a 30-day inspection period. Staff said the IDA purchased the property in 2019 for approximately $105,000 and has collected about $43,000 in rent since then, so the sale represents a gain for the authority.
Sarah Evers told the board A Plus plans to become fully operational at the site and expects to have roughly 14 full-time employees working there. The resolution gives staff authority to execute closing documents and move forward with the transaction.
After questions about site location and building history, the board moved and approved the resolution by voice vote.
