IDA selects Saunders Real Estate to market industrial properties nationally after limited responses

Ms. Grimsley reported the evaluation committee selected Saunders Real Estate to provide professional national real-estate marketing services for industrial and development properties. The committee — which included Ms. Ward and three staff members — found Saunders met the scope of deliverables requested in the RFQ and noted the firm’s recent comparable sales and national reach.
Grimsley told the board the county previously held 42 properties and is in phase 2 of the Commerce Park divestiture and that Saunders’ industrial/commercial arm and national contacts were the reason staff recommended the firm.
"They matched all of those," Ms. Grimsley said of the RFQ scope and Saunders’ qualifications. The board voted to accept the evaluation committee’s recommendation and authorized staff to negotiate the contract.
