Rutledge family seeks minor subdivision to separate two homes; board deems application complete

The Fayston Development Review Board on Feb. 4 accepted as complete an application from the Rutledge family to subdivide an 8.45-acre parcel into a 6.51-acre lot and a 1.94-acre lot.
Applicant Jeremiah Rutledge told the board, "There are currently two homes on the property. My mother is in one of the homes, I’m in the other. We just want to have them on their own lots. All development including homes and driveways is existing, no additional development is proposed." Board member Mike Quenneville moved to deem the application complete and Ky Koitzsch seconded; the motion carried with all in favor.
During brief questioning, Koitzsch asked about septic service; Rutledge said there are two separate septic tanks that share a single leach field. The board indicated no further questions at the hearing and closed the Rutledge hearing the same evening.
