Woody Dugan reported that 14 volunteers participated in the Boyce Hill community stewardship weekend on Oct. 19–20, with work including clearing trees from the dam. "14 volunteers showed up for the community stewardship weekend 10/19-20," Dugan told the commission.
Members noted the ideal maintenance window is late August to early September to avoid regrowth and that mowing and brush‑hogging are slated for Oct. 28. A kiosk map and accompanying signage are in production and will be installed soon.
