Andrea Henderson reported that much of the MRV Bear Initiative's outreach this summer focused on tabling at markets and that the team is revising toolkits to include concise door hangers because multi‑page toolkits are not always read. "Much time this summer was dedicated to tabling at markets," Henderson said.
The commission noted a Warren Library presentation by Jaclyn Comeau of VT Fish and Wildlife and a decision to hold the Bear story contest in summer 2025 (later than in prior years) to try to garner more entries. The changes emphasize simplifying materials and expanding outreach timing to increase participation.
