At its April 2 meeting the Ferrisburgh Zoning Board approved Application 25-018 from Peg Kamens and Jim Mendell to convert an existing wrap-around deck into a screened-in porch. Architect Carol Stenberg confirmed the siding will match the house, trim colors would be brown and blue, and materials include cedar shakes and cedar posts; she also confirmed sheet Z-1 shows the correct plan dimensions. Mike Delaney moved to close the hearing; the board then voted to approve the application as submitted, authorizing the screened porch with a 12-by-10-foot footprint shown on Z-1.
Board members noted Long Point Corp. approval was obtained and that the project is exempt from state Shoreland and Wetland review. The decision will be issued in writing by the board.
