Ferrisburgh ZBA discusses bylaws timeline, third-party review and website update

At the March 4 meeting the Zoning Board addressed several administrative items. Member Dave Mentzer asked whether the town had used third-party reviewers for technical matters in the past; Zoning Administrator Katie Hill said she would investigate the process and report back. Members also discussed the timeline for the town’s bylaws update; Katie Hill outlined that the Planning Commission would hold a public hearing on the proposed updated bylaws on March 18 at 6:45 p.m.
Katie Quinn asked that the town website remove an outdated photograph of ZBA members; board members noted some terms expire at the end of March and said those appointments would be handled at the April meeting. Chair Norm Smith and staff confirmed the board’s next regular meeting is April 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
