The Eden Selectboard on Aug. 6, 2024 postponed final approval of revised beach rules and directed staff to define and enforce campsite boundaries. Board members said tent sites appear to be spilling into common areas and the board asked Pam Uhlendorff to try to keep campers to no more than two tents per site during the remainder of the season; the board will further clarify boundaries during a walkthrough this fall.
The board also entered an executive session at 6:06 p.m. under V.S.A. § 313(3) to discuss a personnel matter; Clayton Whittemore seconded Ricky Morin’s motion and all present attended. The executive session ended at 6:22 p.m. with no decisions recorded. The Selectboard will bring the revised beach rules back for further discussion at a future meeting.
