The Fairfield Selectboard approved amendments to the town’s personnel policy (dated April 13, 2026) and approved minutes from March 23 and March 26.
Town Administrator Cathy Ainsworth presented the final draft of the personnel policy as amended at a prior meeting; no further revisions were suggested. Ron Bocash moved to approve the amendments and the board voted all in favor. The board also approved the two sets of minutes as recorded.
On administrative matters, Cathy reported that Matt Bouchard has been decommissioning the town offices server and reorganizing the computer system, and that quarter-end reports for the Department of Labor and taxes have been completed. David Persons questioned AP warrant charges, noting the dumpster cost and small Microsoft charges after the IT changes; Cathy said she would follow up on the dumpster size and explain Microsoft charges. David moved to approve the warrants and the board approved them unanimously.
