Board approves transfers of Lieutenant Carl Itom and Sergeant Walter Peterson

Committee member (S2) moved to approve the requested transfers; the motion carried by voice vote.
At the start of the meeting Chair (S1) had stated, “I will not be participating in any police matters as far as voting goes,” and S3 earlier noted a conflict; those disclosures were recorded before the transfers were considered. The transfers will take effect on 03/17/2026 per the letters to the board.
