Deb, reporting for the Affordable Housing Trust, said the trust has fulfilled three requests for retrofit work to help lower-income homeowners remain in their homes. Deb described the work as "handicap ramps, adding retrofitting bathrooms, replacing a water heater" and said the trust has granted about $7,000 across those requests so far.
Deb also said the trust has received several inquiries about accessory dwelling units (ADUs) but has not yet scheduled a public information meeting on the topic. She noted applicants must provide bona fide contractor estimates and that the trust will continue to track ADU interest and grant requests. The board encouraged staff to consult Sam's files for details on individual ADU applications.
